this was the shade and base combination i found the lamp in. Ive seen a few of this shade style over the years and have no idea when Conran introduced it. I really like the wear on the shade and base, but gave the wood a good bit of treatment. This lamp might be a bit "marmite" but I'm firmly in the like camp.
